Celebration Choir

We read in Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.”  With that as our marching orders, it is our desire to lead the congregation in meaningful, authentic worship and to glorify God through music.

To accomplish this, we sing a variety of traditional hymns and contemporary songs.  We sing special choral arrangements, usually three Sundays a month, often accompanied with musical sound tracks.  Soloists, praise teams, and men/ladies ensembles usually sing on the remaining Sundays.  We prepare a special worship program for Good Friday/Easter and Christmas.  We generally practice an hour each week.

Sonshine Singers

We believe that one of the ways children can learn about the Lord is through music.  Sonshine Singers offers an opportunity for young people age 5 through 5^th grade to learn praise songs from traditional hymns to more contemporary selections.  We perform as part of the morning worship service about once a month as well as joining the Celebration Choir for the Christmas and Easter programs.  We have a short practice each week just before Sunday Evening worship.  Come join the fun!
