Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the

this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. And I
tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church and the
gates of Hades will not overcome it." - Matthew 16:16-18
By Obeying a New Testament Baptism
"We were therefore buried with him through baptism into
death . . ." - Romans 6:4
"and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you

Matthew 28:18-20

everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very

We believe that the church plays a vital role in spreading
the Good News of the Gospel throughout the world. Halls Christian Church
supports a variety of mission efforts around the world in places such as India, New Guinea, and Burma.
We also support mission and benevolence efforts that are
closer to home. These include Appalachian Family Outreach, Campus Christian Ministry, and Smoky Mountain Christian Camp.
