By Believing a New Testament Creed Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church and the gates of Hades will not overcome it." - Matthew 16:16-18 By Obeying a New Testament Baptism "We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death . . ." - Romans 6:4

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. . . - II Peter 3:18 . . . Matthew 28:18-20
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
We believe that the church plays a vital role in spreading the Good News of the Gospel throughout the world. Halls Christian Church supports a variety of mission efforts around the world in places such as India, New Guinea, and Burma.
We also support mission and benevolence efforts that are closer to home. These include Appalachian Family Outreach, Campus Christian Ministry, and Smoky Mountain Christian Camp.
